Return Policy

Refunds or Exchanges Non-Damaged Items (Excludes Furniture - See 'Furniture Returns' Section Below):

  • Must be within 30 days of purchase.
  • All original packaging, including all tags and boxes must be included with the return.
  • Items must be unused, undamaged and unaltered.
  • If you need to Return an item or file a Missing item claim, please send an e-mail to info@hernanmexico.com. Include order name, order number plus photos of the non-damaged item in box packaging or photo of the packaging showing the item is missing.

    Your refund or exchange request cannot be processed without this information.

  • Allow up to 10 business days (excluding holidays and weekends) to process your return once received.
  • Once your return is inspected, we will send you an email informing you of the status of your return and issue a return label if appropriate.
  • Buyer is responsible for shipping costs on all returns and exchanges. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • If a refund is issued, the cost of return shipping is deducted from your refund
  • All refunds will be processed to the order's original form of payment.
Non-returnable, Non-refundable Items:
  • Food. Includes but is not limited to Moles, Mexican chocolates & Mexican hot chocolates, and all food items that are a part of a gift set.
  • Gift cards.
  • Orders beyond 30 days from purchase.

Report Damaged Items (Excludes Furniture - See 'Furniture Returns Section Below):

  • Must be within 30 days of purchase.
  • All original packaging, including all tags and boxes must be presented with your Damage claim.
  • To file a Damage claim, please send an e-mail to info@hernanmexico.com. Include order name, order number plus photos of ALL SIDES of original box packaging including the shipping label and a photo of the damage item clearly showing the damage. Your refund or exchange request cannot be processed without this information.
  • Allow up to 10 business days (excluding holidays and weekends) to process your claim once received.
  • Once your damage claim is received, we will send you an email informing you of the status of your claim and confirm replacement shipment or refund.
  • All refunds will be processed to the order's original form of payment.

Furniture Returns:

  • Please inspect furniture purchase immediately upon delivery. If there is a problem with your order, contact us at info@hernanmexico.com within three (3) day of receipt. 
  • If you receive a damaged item, pictures of the damaged item and original packaging are required to file a claim. 
  • A restocking charge equal to 10% of the purchase price will apply to all furniture returns. You will be responsible for all outbound shipping and return shipping costs.
  • Shipping fees, return fees and restocking fees are nonrefundable for furniture.  
  • Returns must be received in original condition within 30 days.  
  • All refunds will be processed to orders original form of payment. 
  • Please be aware that furniture is susceptible to damage during transit. We take great care to pack shipments so that they arrive safely. Retain the original packing materials, original receipt and all merchandise tags for any item that you wish to return. You may have to provide supplementary packing materials if the outer carton has been damaged in transit to you.  

    Gift recipients:
    • May return for store credit. Please reach out to us at info@hernanmexico.com to initiate a gift return. We will need the order number and email address associated with the order, as well as a list of the item(s) being returned or missing, and photos or videos of the items in their original packaging.
