Our chocolate de metate is made of stone-ground ORGANIC cocoa beans from a bio-diversified plantation in the Mayan region. We harvest and produce in the state of Chiapas where we continue the Mayan tradition of cultivating cocoa in harmony with the environment.

HERNÁN Mole Poblano is a culinary homage to Mexico’s indigenous and colonial roots.
Rumored to have been created by nuns in colonial Mexico, our Mole is easy to prepare without compromising the integrity of Mexico’s most quintessential dish.
The paste is made of 28 natural and vegan ingredients that combined with broth or water results in a deliciously complex yet well-balanced chocolatey spicy sauce.
A combination of 4 kinds of chilies tempered with raisins, nuts, sesame seeds, cacao, plantains, "piloncillo" (Mexican raw cane sugar), and other herbs & spices.
Enjoy with poultry, roasted pork, grilled vegetables, shrimp, or fish. Also, use as a salsa for huevos rancheros and tacos, or as a BBQ rub.

Roasted pepitas (pumpkin seeds), sesame seeds, and peanuts mixed with spicy chilies and tangy epazote - the Aztecs' cooking herb of choice. Found in abundance in mercados, pepitas are a staple of Mexican cuisine. Ancient Mexicans are known to have hulled, roasted and ground them to make delicious pastes for sauces. Combine paste with broth or water in saucepan for easy 4-8 minute prep. Enjoy over poultry, roasted pork, fish, shrimp or grilled vegetables with a bed of rice. Also delicious over vegan dishes of tofu and seitan steak. Or as a salsa for enchiladas, tacos, and quesadillas.
